Seasonal thoughtsThis is a featured page

In the old months of the moon, as named in the Jewish Calender and headed by each new moon, ending as that moon, having waxed into fullness, wanes into shadow awaiting light again, we move fromTishri to Cheshvan. We are in Libra, a time of balance and justice, Autumn approaches in her colourful glory, in her winds and her letting go. October, with asks us to burn what is past and broken, forgive what must be forgotten, honour the gifts of the past, and of our loved ones and ancestors and light fires of hope for the future. I am lighting my fire of hope. It is the time of the last harvests of the year; a time to reap what we have sown and plant the deepest dwelling roots and bulbs for the following springtime.
